The Get Home Safe Project has partnered with IDD Safe who trains those with intellectual disability disorders and created a platform for professionals, police and parents to share best practices and online training. G.H.S.F. has teamed with D.R.T.C. (De-escalation and Remedial Training Center) to host lectures and training for law enforcement agencies without adequate funding or staff to provide the best science-based de-escalation training and remedial instruction to correct behavior inconsistent with resolving conflict.
